Terms of Service

1. The Service

RoastMyDatingProfile provides automated, informational suggestions about your dating-profile presentation. It does not evaluate your appearance and makes no guarantees about matches or outcomes. Be yourself and be honest.

2. Eligibility — 18+ only

The Service is strictly for adults aged 18 or over. A hard age acknowledgment is required at signup and is recorded with a timestamp. We never target advertising at minors. If any indication appears that an account belongs to a minor, the account is blocked and its data deleted immediately.

The signup acknowledgment also captures upload consent: you confirm the photos you upload are of you, or of people who consented to the upload.

3. Pricing & refunds

Profile Audit (one-time): $19 one-time payment for a single profile audit report.

Refresh subscription: $9/month, cancel any time in one click via the customer portal; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

14-day refund: a 14-day no-questions refund applies to the one-time Profile Audit. Contact support within 14 days of purchase and the payment is refunded.

4. EU/EEA/UK consumers — right of withdrawal

If you purchase as a consumer in the EU/EEA/UK, you have a statutory 14-day right of withdrawal from distance contracts, and these Terms do not limit it. For digital content and digital services performed immediately after purchase, the law allows the withdrawal right to lapse once performance begins — but only with your express consent and your acknowledgment at checkout that you thereby lose the right of withdrawal.

In practice: our voluntary 14-day no-questions refund on the one-time audit is at least as generous as the statutory right, and your statutory rights (including conformity rights for digital content and services under Directive (EU) 2019/770 as implemented) remain unaffected in all cases.

5. Payments

Payments are handled via Stripe hosted Checkout and the Stripe Customer Portal, with Stripe acting as merchant of record under its managed-payments program: Stripe charges you, issues your invoice or receipt, determines and remits applicable VAT/sales tax, and processes refunds and chargebacks under its own consumer-facing terms presented at checkout. We never receive or store your card data.
